Fraser Island

Got a whole four hours sleep before leaving early doors for our Fraser Island tour. Got picked up on a bus with major wheels and got on the 10 min barge from rainbow beach to fraser. Hella bumpy sand tracks through to the resort where we had morning tea. More super bumps along Seventy Five Mile Beach in high tide. Made it to lake Mckenzie. What a beaut. The finest sand I ever did have between ma toes. Had silica in it so good for exfoliating and cleaning jewels. Had some launching fun in the lovely water before getting back on’t bus.

Buffet lunch back at the resort. Saw a couple o dingos on our next stint. Managed to not get savaged. Me and lee did a flight over the island on a tiny lil plane. Saw lake Mckenzie and other tings from above. Mad scenes. Joined the peeps back on the bus and drove on to the shipwreck and pinnacle coloured sands.

Stopped at Eli creek on the way back down the beach. Waded down the freshwater stream and tried a lil bit for taste.

Bit of rockhopping back along the beach to get the barge back over to rainbow beach.

What a lovely day.

Lee and micks went for a smol surf when we got back. Beach was absolutely covered in blue bottles so it’s a no from me.

Had a BBQ on the beachfront before cotching in a car park for the night cos we frugal.
